14-Day Voluntary Return Policy

We offer a 14-day voluntary return policy. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return under this voluntary policy.

To be eligible for a return under this voluntary policy, your item should be in the same condition that you received it, unused or in a resalable condition, with tags where applicable, and preferably in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs under this voluntary return policy unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

This voluntary return policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.

Your Legal Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason and without providing justification.

Once you notify us of your decision to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You may inspect and handle the goods as you would in a shop to assess their nature, characteristics, and function. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.

Original packaging is recommended but not required.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us as soon as possible if:

  • The item is faulty
  • The item is damaged
  • You received the wrong item

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty or not as described. If the fault is reported within 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund.

We will cover the cost of return shipping for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return under our voluntary return policy:

  • Personalised or custom-made products
  • Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed
  • Gift cards

Sale items may be excluded from our voluntary return policy. However, your statutory 14-day cancellation rights still apply.

Returns Process

To initiate a return, please contact contact@quietgrid.co.uk.

You must send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

Items returned without prior contact may delay processing, but this does not affect your statutory rights.

Customers are responsible for ensuring items are returned safely and are recommended to use a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of:

  • receiving the returned goods, or
  • receiving proof that the goods have been returned,

whichever is earlier.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.

Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
